Marlyce Godoy, RDH, BS, MSEd
Marlyce has been successfully contributing to the dental profession in WNY since 2011.
She is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Western New York Dental Group where she has been employed for the last 9 years. She is also an Assistant Professor/Clinical Instructor in the Dental Hygiene program at SUNY Erie. Ms. Godoy plans to transition from the clinical setting to education full time once she has completed her doctoral degree in education. She is currently researching doctoral programs and scholarships while actively participating in nonprofit organizations such as Brown Girl, RDH and MOCHA. Marlyce lives in Downtown Buffalo with her fiancé and her daughter. She enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with her family and looks forward to getting married in her birthplace, Belize, in December 2020.

Andrea Nyitrai, RDH, MSEd
Andrea graduated from SUNY Albany in 2010 with a Bachelors in Sociology, and in 2015 earned her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene degree from SUNY Erie. She has worked full time with the same general practice since the beginning of her career with a focus on pediatric dental care. In December of 2019, Andrea received her Masters degree in Adult Education from SUNY Buffalo State, and she hopes to one day become an educator of Dental Hygiene. Andrea enjoys the patient education component of Dental Hygiene and is committed to making hygiene visits a positive and comfortable experience for her patients. In her free time, Andrea enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and CrossFit.

Gabrielle Damin, RDH
Gabrielle graduated from Erie Community College’s School of Dental Hygiene with an Associate in Applied Science in 2017 and also holds an Associate degree in Liberal Arts and Science which she earned in 2014. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from SUNY Farmingdale. Gabrielle practices dental hygiene full time in a private practice that highly values patient education and comprehensively looking at the patient’s oral health as related to their overall health. Gabrielle thoroughly enjoys being a clinician and loves learning about the constant advancements in dentistry. In her free time, Gabrielle is an avid bowler, traveler, hiker and enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Chris, and dog, Lola.
Secretary
Matthew Roberts, RDH, BS
Matt graduated from the University at Albany, SUNY with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health in 2012. He then graduated from ECC School of Dental Hygiene with an Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2015. He has been practicing dental hygiene for five years and has recently earned his Masters of Science in Adult Education from Buffalo State College. Matt works in a practice that largely focuses on periodontal treatment, implants, and implant fixed prosthesis. His main areas of interest in dentistry include non-surgical periodontal therapy and public health dentistry. Matt was elected as secretary of BDHA in 2018 and hopes to become more involved in the organizational side of dentistry. Matt currently lives in Amherst, NY and in his free time enjoys working out, swimming, and spending time with his family.
